
Trip Grades
Grade 1 Standard unmodified trucks, no recovery gear.
Grade 2 Standard trucks with mud tyres on, some recovery gear.
Grade 3 Standard trucks with mud tyres, snorkel and recovery gear.
Grade 4 Modified trucks with extreme mud tyres or mud tyres typically fitted,
snorkel a must and a winch, ALL recovery gear.
Grade 5 Modified trucks as above, ALL recovery gear and WINCH,
DAMAGE Likely
REMEMBER DON’T RELY ON OTHERS FOR RECOVERY, IF YOU USE
OTHERS PEOPLES RECOVERY GEAR AND BREAK IT, YOU REPLACE IT.
In Case of an Accident
Trip leader to take control or appoint someone to do so.
Ensure safety of yourself, others and property.
Administer First Aid, and assess injuries.
Get help underway if required.
